Art Impressions & Dublin Contemporary 2011
Dublin Contemporary 2011 is delighted to partner with Art Impressions to offer groups a unique way of engaging with the exhibition. This highly informative group tour will begin in the National Gallery of Ireland. Cathy Roche of Art Impressions will draw on the gallery’s extensive collection to convey the essence of different art movements. This component of the tour is effectively a crash course in the history of art. From there Cathy will escort you to Dublin Contemporary’s main hub on Earlsfort Terrace for a tour of the exhibition highlights. Visitors can interpret the exhibition in the context of what was discovered in the earlier component of the tour.
When art is explained in a simple way you can quickly become your own expert and better appreciate a whole variety of works. With this unique tour you will find enjoyable, informative art viewing at its very best. This is the perfect opportunity for those who have always wanted to know more about the history of art and better understand and appreciate contemporary art. Why not treat yourself or someone special to a memorable and rewarding experience?!
Cost: €29 per person
