Dublin Contemporary 2011 is the largest visual arts exhibition ever to be staged in Ireland. It will have a major impact on the visual arts in Ireland and on Ireland’s profile on the world stage. This talk will look at seminal points of change in the visual arts in Ireland and will explore where Dublin Contemporary 2011 sits in that landscape.
